Island Cleanup Day at Glendale Docks and Hazardous Waste Collection
Island Cleanup Day is this Saturday, July 30,2016 from 9:00 to 1:00 at the Glendale Docks.
The Town of Gilford in cooperation with the Department of Public Works si sponsoring the 29th Annual Island Cleanup Day for Island Residents of Gilford only.
Public Works employees will be at the Glendale Docks and will be accepting the following items:
applicances, bagged leaves, furniture, brush, cleand wood (cut in 3 foot lengths, and batteriesContractor debris, tires electronics or liquid waste will not be accepted.
Hazardous Waste Collection will be available at the Public Works Facility on Route 11A from 8:30 to noon

41 Members Attend Spring Luncheon
On March 02, 2019, members enjoyed lunch with fellow islanders at the Lyon's Den in Gilford and heard about the state of Winnipesaukee's water quality. The talk was presented by Pat Tarpey, Executive Director of the Lake Winnipesaukee Association.
