Little Free Library
The Little Free Library has come to the Glendale Docks. Sponsored and maintained by the Friends of Gilford Library, islanders can take a book or return a book. The books are free and have been donated by the library's many patrons. The Friends of the Library will maintain the Little Library and restock it when needed. Children's books will also be available.
The goal is to get people interested in reading more and encourage summer residents to use the Gilford library more.
There is another Little Free Library at the Gilford Town Beach. The library structures were made by Jack Lacombek, a longtime Friend of the Library.
