Lake Winnipesaukee Watershed Association (LWWA) is a nonprofit organization working to protect the water quality and natural resources of Lake Winnipesaukee and its watershed.

Lakes Region Conservation Trust  protects key wildlife habitat in central New Hampshire and provides for public access to conservation lands for thoughtful recreation purposes, and preserves some of the largest freshwater and wilderness resources.

The Loon Preservation Committee works to restore and maintain a healthy population of loons throughout New Hampshire.

NH Lakes Association educates and advocates in an overall effort to improve lake health and boating safety, prevent the introduction and spread of exotic aquatic species and provide public access and other lake issues and a balance of lake uses. 

 NH Audubon Society protects NH's natural environment for wildlife and for people.
